Nashville, Tenn. (June 14, 2021) — Country Music Hall of Fame member Ray Stevens came blazing into 2021. As of today, the two-time GRAMMY® Award winner has released four new albums within the first five months of the new year. Out now, Stevens’ latest release, Nouveau Retro (What’s Old Is New Again), is available on all digital platforms via Curb Records.
The twelve-track record featuresbeloved but sometimes forgotten songs of the past like “Blue Moon,” “Cry Me A River,” “Mountain of Love,” and “Always Chasing Rainbows / Over The Rainbow,” beautifully recreated from Stevens’ point of view.
“A great song continues to be ‘great’ even when it’s presented in a completely different way and this collection is definitely in that category,” explains Stevens. “So, I hope previous opinions will be laid aside and fans will be open to receive a little something different and behold… Nouveau Retro (What’s Old is New Again)!”
On July 23, fans can purchase all four new albums as a collection — 1.Great Country Ballads 2. Melancholy Fescue (High Class Bluegrass), 3.
